Mr. Bill Jones, 91, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2010.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents Ben and Mary Spears Jones; one sister and five brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sara G. Bailey Jones; daughters, Linda Chitwood and her husband Royce of Sharpsburg, Jane Jones of Fayetteville, Gail Vickery and her husband Billy of Sharpsburg, Diane Giddens and her husband Jimmy of Senoia, and Frieda Wilson of Newnan; sons, William Jones and his wife Glenda of LaGrange, Randy Jones and his wife Jenny of Haralson and Charles “Mike” Jones of Woodbury; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother Ben Jones, Jr. of LaGrange; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville , with Reverend Pastor Zenus Windsor officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
