Holder-Cheek Wedding

Hannah Michelle Holder and James Thomas Cheek were married at Gin Creek in Hartsfield, Ga. on July 10, 2010. The Rev. David Rogers, the groom’s uncle, conducted the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Holder of Peachtree City. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Holder of Peachtree City, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ethridge of Chattanooga, Tenn.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Cheek of Leesburg, Ga. He is the grandson of Stella Cheek and the late Roland Cheek of Leslie, Ga., and Ms. Mary Anne Thomas and Mr. Russell Thomas Jr. of Americus. His stepgrandmother is Andrea Thomas Jr. of Americus.

Brittany Lotito of St. Petersburg, Fla., served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Holder, the bride’s sister of Peachtree City, Laura Holder, the bride’s sister-in-law of Kennesaw, Kristin Smith of Fayetteville, Maggie Cheek and Anne Cheek, the groom’s sisters of Leesburg. The flower girl was Morgan Carpenter, cousin of the bride.

Spence Parkerson, of Valdosta, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Jay Barcus and Andrew Duncan of Albany, Michael Buffaloe of Hahira, Matt Herring of Florence, Ky., and Nathan Holder, the brother of the bride, of Kennesaw. David Holder, brother of the bride, served as the junior groomsman.

Following the outdoor ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held in the Galleria at Gin Creek.

The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico and now reside in Valdosta.
