One of the most important annual events in Fayette County is about to explode on the scene—the 20th annual Fayette Chamber of Commerce Community Expo!
On Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 3-7 p.m., all Fayette County roads lead to 551 New Hope Road and New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville. If you’ve ever been to the Expo, you know the excitement it generates and instant value it brings to any visitor, not counting all the fun and friendly greeting from many folks you’ll know. But this year, the Fayette Chamber has gone all out to make Expo smack dab full of something for everyone.
At this year’s Expo you can: get a massage, flu shot and discounted office supplies. Kids of all ages will have a lot of fun and business people of all kinds can meet, connect, wheel and deal.
You can sample some mighty fine-tasting tidbits from the likes of Pascal’s Bistro, Shane’s Rib Shack, Cookie Express, and Ohio Hog Company BBQ. Register to win a netbook computer, get in the drawing for Visa and American Express gift cards, movie tickets, tickets to the Georgia Aquarium, or a lovely area rug.
Listen to a live remote broadcast by 92.5 The Bear and J93 radio stations. Have coffee at the Biz Café, sign up for mini business workshops, watch or participate in the Wii Competition and much, much more.
As if this is not a red carpet affair expo extravaganza enough, you can also visit 120 exhibitor booths, a real opportunity to bring your list of wants and needs and check out Fayette’s top quality suppliers of services and products, all in one place, in a festive atmosphere. Many exhibitors have special handouts and offers available only during the Expo that you won’t want to miss out on.
A big part of the Community Expo fun is to see the fine work on display by the many talented Fayette County high school students, and see who wins scholarship money and other great prizes, including at the youth, senior and Chamber member individual and team competitions.
Who will be at Expo? Come and meet Fayette accounting services, banks, carpet and flooring businesses, colleges, golf & tennis clubs, health care services, remodelers, and so many more.
Expect to be fully rewarded (and maybe a little exhausted and “stuffed”) by grabbing your walking shoes, a friend or two, and supporting your Fayette Chamber, local businesses, the community—and not hear later, “Aw, you shoulda gone to Expo—it was fabulous.”
And at the close of Expo, you can go to the Virtual Expo online at FayetteChamber.org where you can access more information about all exhibitors as well as participate in a Scavenger Hunt interactive quiz and enter a drawing for an electric table top grill from Georgia Power.
