The James Waldrop Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution invites the public to join in the Bells Across America Celebration on September 17 at noon as the United States celebrates the 223rd anniversary of the signing of the US Constitution.

The bell ringing will be held on the Fayetteville Square next to the flagpole at the Old County Courthouse
.
The Marquis de Lafayette Chapter Sons of the American Revolution will provide a musket salute in honor of this historical event.

The U.S. Constitution is the oldest constitution still in active use in the world today and is the basic document of our republic, which protects the individual liberties of all citizens through written law.  The James Waldrop Chapter DAR encourages all Fayette County residents, young and old, to study the Constitution, know your rights, and know what it says and does not say.

The James Waldrop Chapter DAR is chartered in Fayetteville, GA.
