Charles and Carolyn Kay Charping of Fayetteville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this month.

The Charpings were married Aug. 6, 1960 in Andersonville, S.C.

Celebrating with them were daughters, Deborah C. Mitchell, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Sherry Annette Taylor, McDonough, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
