Mr. Henry Oliver Griffin, Jr., 84, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010.
Mr. Griffin was an active member of the North Fayette United Methodist Church and Men’s Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kit Griffin and his parents, Henry Oliver Griffin, Sr. and Bessie Beard Griffin.
He is survived by his daughters, Shelley (Bruce) Breaux of New Orleans, LA, Wanda Hardin of Fayetteville, and Regina Waite of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kelley, Jamie and Brian; great-grandchild, Conner; brother, Norman Griffin of Shreveport, LA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at North Fayette United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Burrell and Rev. Bill Koetje officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
