Kids of all ages enjoyed watermelon eating contests and other Independence Day festivities at Drake Field in Peachtree City Saturday following the annual parade. The city celebrated the Fourth a day early this year, culminating in a spectacular 18-minute fireworks display over Lake Peachtree that was enjoyed by many thousands. See other holiday photos here.
