Lera Beatrice Crooks Burch, 84, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Bea was born on May 31, 1926 in Greenville, SC. She was a long-time member of Inman United Methodist Church. Bea’s number one love in life was her large community of friends and family. The body was cremated and friends and family gathered for a memorial on June 26 at her church. Bea is survived by her husband of 61 years, Walter Fields Burch; daughter, Carol Turner Helms, Fayetteville, GA; grandchildren, Mark Fields Helms, Tucker, GA, and Katherine Helms Strickland, Newnan, GA; great-granddaughter Emily England, Athens, GA; brothers and sisters, Greenville, S.C.; nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat Sadie Mae.
