Christ the King will offer 2-day healing conference June 25, 26

A Conference on Healing, featuring the teaching and ministry of the Most Rev. Charles Jones, archbishop of the Southeast Province of the International Charismatic Episcopal Church, will be held Friday evening, June 25, beginning at 7 p.m. The conference will continue Saturday, June 26, from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The conference, whose theme is, “He Makes All Things New,” is sponsored by the local chapter of the International Order of St. Luke the Physician. Prayer for those suffering from physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual conditions will be offered.

Jones also serves as the supervising bishop of the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast, the supervising archbishop of the denomination’s International Development Agency, and is the rector of The Cathedral of Christ the King in Selma Ala. Jones has been involved in teaching about emotional, physical and spiritual healing for many years and began the Lazarus Healing Ministry at his church in Selma.

The conference will be held at Christ the King Church, 4881 Ga. Hwy. 34 East, Sharpsburg, between Peachtree City and Newnan. The cost is $10.
