Mr. and Mrs. Clark Boyd Jr. of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Alyssa Boyd, to Paul Richard Harp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Harp of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Perry of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clark Boyd Sr. of McMinnville, Tenn. She is a 2005 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia College & State University earning a bachelor of arts degree in public relations with a minor in marketing. She is currently employed at Messe Frankfurt, Inc. in Atlanta as trade show coordinator.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harp of Stockbridge, Dr. and Mrs. Charles Parsons of Queensland, Australia, and the late Ms. Renee Joyce Monsauret, of Hamilton, New Zealand. He is a 2000 graduate of Jonesboro High School. He attended Middle Georgia College and Mercer University on baseball scholarships, and will receive a bachelor of business administration degree in management from Clayton State University next year. He is currently employed as the vice president of Delta Gutters based out of Fayetteville.
The wedding will be July 17, 2010, at Peachtree City Church of Christ in Peachtree City. The couple will honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico.
