Johnson-Dixon Wedding

Emily Beth Johnson and James Stephen Dixon were married at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church on April 10, 2010. The Rev. Chuck Hodges of Athens First United Methodist Church officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Jan Johnson of Peachtree City and the granddaughter of Bill and Loraine Baldwin of Brooks. A graduate of McIntosh High School and The University of West Georgia, she is employed by Resitech Industries in Norcross.

The groom is the son of Jim and Mary Dixon of Suwannee and the grandson of Imogene Barronton and the late Clyde Barronton of Villa Ricaa. A graduate of Collins Hill High School and the University of West Georgia, he is employed by Strong Pharmaceutical Solutions in Norcross.

Emily Griffith of New York City served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Cooper, sister of the bride, of Clarksville, Tenn., Sarah Allington, sister of the bride, of Decatur, Laura Nugent of Pentwater, Mich., Michelle Fuhrman of Miami, Fla., Kristi Oates of Peachtree City, and Lauren Kania of Marietta. Natalie and Vanessa Cooper of Clarksville Tenn., the bride’s nieces, served as flower girls.

Brian Dixon of Suwannee, the groom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Colbert of Rossville, Michael Dutzy of Marietta, Clayton Huff of Woodstock, Krystian Przyjenski of Atlanta, Tripp Wallace of Winder, and Christopher Whitaker of Chattanooga, Tenn. Caleb Mize, of Senoia, served as ring bearer.

Following the ceremony a dinner and dance reception was held at W. Coffee Golf and Event Center in Tyrone.

Mr. and Mrs. Dixon honeymooned in Jamaica and now reside in Duluth, Ga.
