Jo Anne Holt of Peachtree City died April 25, 2010.

Jo was born in Richfield, Kansas October 15, 1942, the third of four children of Ray and Frances Boekhaus.

She attended Southwestern College in Winfield, KS where she majored in music. When she was 13, Jo began playing the piano for her church, a ministry which she continued for 50 years.

In 1960, Jo moved to Kansas City to take a job as an airline attendant with TWA. It was in Kansas City that she met and married her husband, Julius Holt in 1965. They moved their family from Wichita, KS to Peachtree City, GA in 1980. Jo worked for Peachtree Editorial Service for almost twenty years.

Jo’s faith, both in life and in death, was in Christ alone.

Jo is survived by her husband Julius Holt; daughters Julie deLuna of Walnut Creek, CA and Jennifer Waters of Perry, GA; three grandchildren Taylor deLuna, Benjamin deLuna and Grant Waters; two sisters, Patty Newton of Prescott, AZ, Terry Rippetoe of Huntsville, TX and a brother Bill Boekhaus of Richfield, KS.

A memorial service will be held at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to be made to Real Life in Tyrone, GA or the Carriage Lane Presbyterian Benevolence Fund.
