Jeanne Sims Brumlow, 72, died April 18 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia due to complications from surgery.
A service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, April 22nd at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home at 180 Jeff Davis Drive Fayetteville, Ga. 30214 .
She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, daughter, sister and grandmother. Jeanne was born December 15, 1937 in Villa Rica, Ga. to Horace Radford Sims and Sarah Carolyn Crowley. She graduated from Georgia State in 1963 with a BS Degree. She married William C (Bill) Brumlow on May 17, 1958. She was a full-time mother and business owner, active in many civic and charitable organizations in her community.
Jeanne is survived by her husband Bill; her sons Chris and Kevin Brumlow and daughter-in-law Shelia Brumlow; grandsons Eric and Avery Brumlow; her sister and brother-in-law Jane and Marty Slark and her brother and sister-in-law Jim and Sherry Sims; her sisters-in-law Marie Davidson and Louise Bishop; and her brothers-in-law Dean Davidson and Hugh Bishop; as well as her step mother Vivian Jones Sims. In addition she is survived by her nieces Donna Buckles, Carol Archer, Connie Leddy, Kathe Moyer, Melissa Rosas, Carol Chaput, Dena Davidson and her nephews Cleve Bishop, Mike Bishop, Tommy Bishop, Jerry Davidson, Alan Davidson and Justin Sievers.
She was preceded in death by her parents Horace and Carolyn Sims and her granddaughter, Sara Ann Brumlow.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday April 21 at Carl J. Mowell & Sons in Fayetteville .
