Charlie Vera Frank, 86, died Feb. 9, 2010. She was born July 30, 1923 in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles P. and Vera Lottie Smith, and her husband, Richard P. Frank. She found her name, “Charlie” a source of conversation and even got a draft notice in World War II. She was a prolific reader and also enjoyed driving, wearing out numerous vehicles. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Forest Park for over 30 years.

Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Steven Saul officiating. Survivors include sons Michael and Janet Frank, Douglasville, Kyle and Saundra Frank, Senoia, and Wayne and Ira Frank, Gainesville; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Perry and Della Mae Smith; and a sister, Gwynell Goss. Memorial donations may be given to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, 760 Pollard Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30315. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
