Jimmie Hazelle Gagliano

Jimmie Hazelle Gagliano, 89, Peachtree City, formerly of Chattanooga, died Jan. 7, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Gagliano, her parents, Lester and Alda Kate Holt High, and brother, Robert King High. She was member of the Fellowship Sunday School class at Peachtree City First Baptist Church. She was retired from the Chattanooga Times with 24 years of service. Services were at the East Ridge Baptist Church, Chattanooga, with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Mitchell officiating. Interment was at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons, David and Shirley Gagliano, Ringold, Ga., Steve and Judy Gagliano, Peachtree City, and Paul and Donna Gagliano, Hermitage, Tenn; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Neira, Milton, Fla. Memorial donations may be given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at the Peachtree City First Baptist Church. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge of local arrangements.
