Josephine “Jo” Hunnicutt passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 24th, 2016. She was 84 years old.

Ms. Hunnicutt was born on May 5, 1931 in Atlanta, Ga. by her parents James Hunnicutt and Edith Day.

Ms. Hunnicutt served for the Fulton County legal system for over 36 years. She was a member of Southwest Christian Church, and in her spare time volunteered for Christian City and Southwest Christian Hospice.

Josephine is survived by her sister Kay (Charles) Leonard, brother Gene Day, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, 2 great great nieces, and her dog Jock. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Hunnicutt and Edith Day.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, Ga.
