Two Florida men arrested recently in Alabama on entering auto charges are believed to be connected to other vehicle break-ins in Peachtree City.

Thirty-seven-year-old Oscar Moses Badger, of Dania Beach, Fla., and Bobby Hanna, 24, of Plantation, Fla., were arrested recently in Pelham, Alabama on entering auto charges, according to media reports.

Similar to the activities of the three Florida men who broke into cars earlier this week at New Hope Baptist Church South in Peachtree City and were apprehended in east Coweta County, Badger and Hanna led Alabama officers on a chase after breaking into vehicles at a daycare center, reports said.

Cherokee County, Alabama sheriff’s Lt. Jay Baker said investigators believe the two men are also responsible for similar thefts in Peachtree City and Gwinnett County, according to reports.

Pertaining to the Dec. 4 arrests after the break-ins at New Hope Baptist, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office investigator Ethan Harper said it is believed the three men are part of the Florida-based “Felony Lane” gang that operates in states in the southeast and midwest and specialize in vehicle break-ins.

The gang targets purses and wallets in plain sight then uses the stolen credit cards and cards with photo identification to forge and cash stolen checks. The prime targets for break-ins are daycare centers, parks, churches and gyms, Harper said.
