Off to college

Creekside Christian Academy’s Koby Hill signed a letter of commitment to play basketball for Erskine College in South Carolina. Hill helped lead his team to the GICAA 2AA state championship and a region championship.

He led the Cougars in scoring (13.3 ppg) and was an All-State and All-Region Selection. Hill is pictured with his teammates, Asst. Coach J.J. Hines, brother, mother, father and Head Coach Burton Urarow. Hill is a resident of Fayette County. Photo/Special

Opinion

I am a soccer referee and each week I am on a soccer field almost every day. I hate seeing young men and women, sometimes as young as 12 or 13, with knee braces, casts, or on crutches.

Sports

If the “Fountain of Youth” really exists, it may be at the Canongate golf courses in Fayette and Coweta counties.
