Pardon our Comcast phone, Internet failures

If you have been trying to reach The Citizen via phone or email in the past few days, you may have experienced trouble communicating with us, due to continuing technical problems with our Comcast/Xfinity-provided telephone and Internet connectivity.

“We have been experiencing bad phone service and intermittent broadband outages since Wednesday morning,” publisher Cal Beverly said Friday afternoon. “The service was down all day Wednesday. Despite multiple calls to Comcast and two Comcast technicians onsite Thursday, we still have the same problems. Please pardon us while we wait on Comcast/Xfinity to get their stuff finally fixed so we can provide the services our readers and customers expect.”
