Virgil and Carolyn Fludd, owners of Revival Wines and Dessert Bar, will share the essentials of creating delicious harmony between food and wine. Explore how flavor, texture, acidity, sweetness, and aroma influence a pairing, and learn simple principles that take the guesswork out of choosing the right wine for your meal. Using familiar foods and approachable wines, they will highlight combinations that complement one another, and a few pairings that are best avoided. You’ll leave with practical tips for selecting wine at dinner, planning a menu, entertaining guests, and confidently explaining why certain pairings simply work.
