Don’t Let the Frost Bite – Wednesday, November 11 – 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fayette Senior Services (FSS) – Peachtree City location at The Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail: Sweater weather may feel great to us, but our plants might have a different opinion! Join Kim Toal with the Extension Office to learn how changing temperatures can affect the plants growing right outside your door. While some handle the shift to cooler weather with ease, others may need a little extra attention to stay protected as temperatures dip. Learn how to recognize signs of cold-related damage and what you can do to help vulnerable plants weather the change. Kim will share advice for giving your outdoor plantings the right care as the seasons shift, helping you keep your landscape looking its best even when Mother Nature turns down the thermostat. This program is FREE but pre-registration is required. Call 770-461-0813 or email [email protected] (include name, phone number and event title) to register. FSS members and non-members welcome. www.Fayss.org.
