City of Fayetteville administrative departments are moving from the old City Hall at 240 South Glynn Street to the new City Hall at 210 Stonewall Avenue West on Thursday and Friday, June 3 and 4, and they will reopen to the public at the new location on Monday morning, June 7.
The old City Hall will close at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, and remain closed on Friday, June 4, to accommodate the moving of equipment and personnel. Online services available at www.Fayetteville-GA.gov will still be available as usual. The new City Hall building will open with normal operations at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 7.
The new City Hall building is located between the Fayetteville City Cemetery and Paloma’s Collection (located in the historic Hollingsworth House), and it is also located close to the Fayette County Library and the Fayette County Government Complex. Parking is located on both sides of the building. Public entrances to the building are located on its north, west, and south sides.
The Water Department payment drop box, which was located outside the old City Hall, has been removed and is being refurbished. It will be unavailable until Monday morning, June 7, when it will be installed at the new City Hall location.
Updates and other information about the new City Hall & City Center Park are published regularly on www.Fayetteville-GA.gov and the City’s Facebook and Nextdoor pages.
