Keith and Sheila Hunter of Tyrone announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Joy Hunter, to Jason Rich, son of Barry and Marge Rich of Manchester, Conn.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Vernon Mashburn and the late Mrs. Lorene Mashburn of Pineview, and Mrs. Marjorie Foskey of Hawkinsville. She is a graduate of Berry College with a B.A. in international studies and Spanish. She is currently an MBA candidate at the Georgia Tech Business School and works in business management in Atlanta.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rich of Panama City Beach, Fla. and George Kania and the late Mrs. Margaret Kania of Manchester, Conn. He received his B.A. in political science from Lenoir-Rhyne University and his masters and Ph.D. in political science from the University of Connecticut. He is an assistant professor at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville.
The wedding will be held at the Casa Monica in St. Augustine, Fla. on Dec. 30, 2011.
