Louise Virginia Melson McAfee, age 90, of Carrollton, GA, died on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Newnan Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Newnan, GA.
She was born May 30, 1921 in Coweta County, GA to the late Appleton Melson & Lizzie Moore Melson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, John C. McAfee. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
The funeral service is Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Rev. Joe Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA. The visitation is Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263.
