Brooks Farmers Market set to open this month

Summer is approaching, and with it will be the opening of the Brooks Farmers Market on May 30.

Town Manager Maurice Ungaro said May 30 marks the opening day of the seasonal Brooks Farmers Market, located next to Town Hall in downtown Brooks.

The Farmers Market is generally held on the 4^th Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The May market day is being held on the 30^th to not conflict with Memorial Day weekend.

Offerings include fresh local produce, baked goods, local honey, coffee, BBQ, fresh seafood and crafts.

Our season runs through October, with an additional date in November for a holiday craft market. The market venue is indoor/outdoor, and operates rain or shine, Ungaro said.
