Suzanne Whitfield Clark and Matthew Ryan Lane were married Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at noon at The Chimneys in Big Canoe in Jasper. The officiating minister was the Rev. Steve Fazenbaker of Atlanta. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Eugene Clark of Fayetteville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Sidney Lane of Greensboro.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her maids of honor were sisters Lane Clark Friel of Marietta and Catherine Lee Clark of Fayetteville. Other bridesmaids were Elizabeth Hardison Settle of Atlanta, Caroline Lowrey Brown of Smyrna, Meredith Jeanne Black of Paris, France, and Kimberly Baldesare Weldon of Atlanta.

The groom’s best man was his brother, Victor Eric Lane, of Greensboro. Other groomsmen were Dustin Frederick Howard of Atlanta, John Michael Ward of Chickamauga, Brian Robert Oldt of Birmingham, and Daniel Potter Jones of Smyrna.

The bride and groom are both graduates of The Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a product designer at Rehrig Pacific Company. He is an electrical engineer at ENERCON Services, Inc.

After a honeymoon in Saint Lucia the couple resides in Marietta.
