Mrs. Linda Joyce Presley, 70, of Hampton, died April 29, 2011. Linda was born and raised in Berlin, GA, and she graduated in 1958 from Moultrie Senior High School. She later received an Associate Degree in Music from Clayton Junior College .
She was preceded in death by her father B. McCoy.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Darrell C. Presley; 2 sons Jeffrey & Kathy Presley of San Antonio, TX and Christopher & Michelle Presley of Fayetteville; 2 daughters Lane McDuffie of Fayetteville and Jeannie & Jed Smith of Peachtree City; 9 grandchildren Hannah and Alyssa Presley; Amber, Brandon and Cade Presley; Mitchell and Nicholas McDuffie; Rex and Sam Smith; her mother Kate McCoy of Berlin, GA; brother John Marcine & Delores McCoy of Douglasville; 4 sisters Janette & Horace May of Moultrie, Beth & Stanley Redding of Moultrie, Susan & Larry Griffin of Albany, GA, and Nancy & Stanley Norman of Moultrie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Mark Westmoreland will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
