The Pre-K classes at Lafayette Kid’s World on Marquis Drive in Fayetteville raised money for the victims of Japan’s recent earthquake and tsunami. The students and their teachers talked about Japan after the earthquake and the kids wanted to do what they could to help. The fund-raising efforts were split between the boys and girls and the winning side got the chance to throw whipped cream pies at their teachers. The boys raised $282.83 and the girls raised $163.63. The money will be donated to Wells Fargo’s collection for the American Red Cross. Photo/Michael Boylan.
