A March 13 brush fire on Grandmas Lane in south Fayette County caused damage to the rear of an adjacent residence, but caused no injuries. Deputy Fire Chief Tom Bartlett said the fire resulted from a burn over the prior weekend. Fire Chief David Scarbrough urged all homeowners to ensure burn piles are completely out.
