John Q. Walker, age 89, of Tyrone

Mr. John Q. Walker, age 89, of Tyrone, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Nash Walker and is survived by his daughter, Linda Peppers and her husband, Phil of Auburn, Mary Stallings of Barnesville; sons, John Walker and his wife, Carol of Jackson, Kory Walker and his wife, Barbi of Tyrone; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Monday, January 7, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Ham and Rev. Mark Yearwood officiating. Interment  followed at Sherwood Memorial Park.
