David Vance Baker, 80, of Fayetteville passed away October 19, 2018. He was born in Newnan on November 21, 1937 to the late Fred LaFayette and Nora Mae Baker. David proudly served his country in the United States Army.
David is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Baker; sons, Darrell (Cheryl) Baker and Brian (Kathy) Baker; grandchildren, Christopher (Shara) Baker, Joshua (Lauren) Baker, Elizabeth (Payton) Taveney, Jonathan (Callie) Baker, Chase (Kayla) Baker, Joe (Allison Osalla) Baker, and Jared Baker; great-grandchildren, Savannah Jane Baker, Charlie Taveney, and Zachary Baker.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville with Reverend Jack Miller officiating. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
