A central Fayette County man and woman were charged and more than two dozen underage drinkers were cited by Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies New Year’s Eve at the couple’s residence on Green Meadow Lane near Quarters Road. That’s a semi-rural area between Redwine and Ebenezer roads in the south-central part of the county.

Terry Schrepfer, 52, and Holly Schrepfer, 50, were both charged with keeping a disorderly house and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to sheriff’s spokesperson Brent Rowan.

Rowan said deputies were called to the residence by a neighbor who called 911 about a loud party. Officers arrived to find a large number of underage drinkers on the premises, he said.

Deputies took 20 underage drinkers ages 17-20 to jail on charges of possession of alcohol by a minor, Rowan said, adding that two of those were also charged with obstruction for running from police.

Also cited for possession of alcohol by a minor were seven teenagers under the age of 17 who were placed in the custody of their parents, Rowan said.
