Three people were arrested on numerous charges June 2 for firing multiple weapons near a residence on Dogwood Trail in central Fayette County.

Faith Blackmer, 23, of Dallas, was charged with reckless conduct, two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon, eight counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, eight counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, drug possession, drug-related objects and misdemeanor marijuana, according to Fayette County Jail records.

Christopher Cobb, 44, of Sandy Springs, was charged with drug possession, reckless conduct, eight counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime and drug-related objects, jail records said.

Vincent Hodoly, III, 33, of Kennesaw, was charged with drug possession, two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon, eight counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, eight counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, drug-related objects, reckless conduct and misdemeanor marijuana, according to jail records.

Sheriff Barry Babb said deputies at approximately 10:39 p.m. received a call in reference to firearms being discharged. Deputies arrived at a Dogwood Trail residence east of Tyrone near Tyrone Road and were told that the shooting was coming from an area behind three residences.

Deputies could also hear multiple gunshots from multiple weapons, Babb said.

Deputies went to the rear of the property and announced themselves, said Babb, adding that a vehicle soon attempted to exit the area. The vehicle contained Blackmer, Cobb and Hodoly, Babb said.

Babb said a search of the vehicle revealed numerous rifles and handguns, suspected methamphetamine and marijuana, drug pipes, significant ammunition and magazines.

Cobb told deputies he had paid a fee to an undisclosed individual to use the property as a target range, Babb said.
