Thomas M. Arsenault, 71, passed away at his home in Peachtree City, Ga. on March 18, 2017, from pulmonary Amyloidosis. Thomas was born in Lawrence, Mass. on May 14, 1945, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Nellie (Skulski) Arsenault and resided in North Andover, Mass. for several years.Tom graduated from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Mass. and American River College in Sacramento. He served in the Air Force during the Viet Nam war and had a successful career in the timber industry before joining the Peace Corps, where he met his wife in Swaziland. They returned to the U.S. in 1991 and co-created A Self-help Assistace Program, a non-profit organization with a mission to cultivate self-reliance and foster cross cultural understanding.

≤ He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth (Bara) Arsenault; son, Mark and his wife Margaret of Elk Grove, Calif.; sister Joan and her husband John Sevigny of Peachtree City; sister, Barbara and her husband Frank Fay of Londonderry, N.H.; two grandchildren, Rochelle and Erin; three great-grandchildren, Guinevere, Aislin Roise and Merida.

Father John Murphy of Holy Trinity Catholic Church performed last rites. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
