0It was a first for Coweta County and its veterans. The Veterans Appreciation Muster was held in Veterans Park in Newnan Saturday morning. The occasion included remarks from Gen. Don Harvel (USAFNG), Congressman Lynn Westmoreland, Coweta County Commission Chairman Paul Poole and Newnan Mayor Keith Brady. The event concluded with a Huey helicopter fly-by and a musket salute by the Marquis de LaFayette Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.
