“Fireproof” the movie, starring Kirk Cameron and Erin Bethea, will be presented at McDonough Road Baptist Church on Sunday, Oct. 10, at 5 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The 2008 release is about fire captain Caleb Holt and his valiant effort to save his struggling marriage. Living by the old firefighter’s adage Never Leave Your Partner Behind, Holt faces his greatest challenge ever on the home front, and that is rescuing and resuscitating his marriage. The movie is free and open to the public.
