Childbirth Preparation is an all-day class offering information on recognizing signs and stages of labor, planned/unplanned cesarean births, induction and augmentation of labor along with pain management options such as relaxation, breathing techniques, epidurals, analgesics.
The role of the support person will also be discussed. A tour of the maternity center is included.
The next class, which will be led by Ryan Heeb, RN, CCCE, is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 7, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Piedmont Fayette Hospital’s Cancer Wellness Center’s activity room. Fee is $100. Bring a pillow for comfort.
