The newest superior court judge in the Griffin Judicial Circuit is Fayetteville native Scott Ballard, shown here between Judge Fletcher Sams (L) and Senior Judge Christopher Edwards (R). Some 250 people attended the Dec. 16 ceremony in the Fayette County Justice Center to watch now former District Attorney Ballard take the oath of office, administered by Fayette Probate Judge Ann Jackson.
