Griffin Choral Arts has received a $500 grant from the Dundee Community Association. These funds will be used to support and enhance GCA’s Standing Ovation Tenth Anniversary Season.

“This grant allows us to continue to program boldly as we perform choral masterworks for voices and instruments.  Because of such community support, we are able to expand our offerings in meaningful ways, including the creation of a Children’s Chorus,” said Steve Mulder, artistic director of Griffin Choral Arts.

Four concerts remain in this Tenth Anniversary Season. The Christmas Season brings two “Cheers!” concerts, scheduled for Dec. 1 and 4. The GCA Children’s Chorus will make its debut at Griffin First United Methodist Church the afternoon of Dec. 4.

The March 2017 “Bravo!” concert will feature a collaboration with Clayton State’s University Chorale at the Griffin Auditorium. The concluding “Encore!” concert will be held in May at Gordon College’s Fine Arts Auditorium.
