Christian City announces volunteer needs

Officials at Christian City have announced a number of ongoing volunteer positions available for consideration, with some needing to be filled soon.

Goodie House Food Pantry: volunteers are needed to sort and shelve donated food and help senior residents with food selections. Tuesday-Friday, 12:30-3 p.m.

Graceland Thrift Store sorters: Hours are flexible Mon.-Sat. Volunteer needed to sort through donations to be priced and sold in the store. Volunteer services promote the sale of donated items and all proceeds go directly to The Children’s Village at Christian City.  

Spiritual Care helpers:  Hours and positions vary.  We need Bible study teachers and helpers, worship service volunteers, and people to visit our shut-in senior residents on the campus.

Information Desk receptionist: weekdays 9:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Minimum 2-hour shifts. Volunteer receptionist will greet and direct visitors to the appropriate departments.
