Ms. Earline Bates, 88, of Sharpsburg passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She was born May 22, 1928 in Brookhaven, Miss.

The funeral is Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 1 p.m. at South Metro Ministries, 3935 Hwy 34 East, Sharpsburg, Ga. with Pastor Allan Mathura officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends at the church on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. until the start of the funeral. Rather than flowers, memorial contributions can be made to South Metro Ministries Building Fund, 3935 Hwy 34, Sharpsburg, Ga. 30277.
