Michael and Kim Cort of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Susan Cort, to Brooks Bradford Sterritt, son of William and Patricia Sterritt of Elizabeth City, N.C.
Jessica is a graduate of Starr’s Mill High School. She attended Georgia Tech, where she graduated with a B.S. in industrial engineering. She currently works as a managing consultant in business analytics at Grant Thornton LLP.
Brooks holds degrees from Wake Forest University (B.A., German) and Emerson College (M.F.A., Creative Writing), and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in English at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
The wedding will take place on May 6, 2017 in Elizabeth City. The couple resides in Chicago.
