The theft of a tow truck from a Fayette County business was reported on July 14.
Employees at Yem Tire on Ga. Highway 138 in north Fayette County reported that a 2010 tow truck valued at $65,000 was stolen from the property. The truck was described as a white flat-bed with red letters on the door reading Williams Towing, said Sheriff Barry Babb.
Babb said investigators are reviewing video footage from area cameras.
A July 13 burglary occurred at Beauty World at the Fayette Pavilion.
Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Mike Whitlow said officers responding to an alarm call found the front door glass kocked out and approximately $10,000 in merchandise stolen.
Hair weaves appear to be in demand as this is the third time this year the store has been burglarized.
Peachtree City experienced four entering auto incidents during the period.
One of those was reported on July 14 at The Avenue when a forced entry was made but nothing of value appeared to be stolen.
Three other vehicle entries occurred in the 200-block of Ga. Highway 74 North on July 12. All three were forced entries, with a wallet stolen from one vehicle and nothing stolen from the remaining two.
