Peachtree City police Officer Stephen Stoyell was recently recognized by Mayor Vanessa Fleisch and the City Council for his participation, and that of other officers, in helping a homeless family receive the assistance needed to get back on their feet. Rather than having a news story on the help they provided, officers understandably preferred to have their efforts kept private. To say they made a difference in the life of that family would be an understatement. Photo/Ben Nelms.
