Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a pick-up truck stolen from a New Hope Road residence on April 4.
Spokesperson Renee McCollum said a black 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was stolen from a New Hope Road residence between 7:25-7:30 a.m. on April 4.
The owner was letting the truck warm up in the driveway when the theft occurred. He came out of the house to find the truck missing, McCollum said.
The truck is a four-door model with a sliver brush guard, a silver, black and red University of Georgia tag and a dirt bike decal in the rear window. There is also damage to the bed area on the passenger’s side of the truck, said McCollum.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at 770-461-6353.
