The Southern Ground Amphitheater has just finalized the lineup for the 2016 Summer Concert Series and “is excited to continue the amphitheater’s long-standing tradition of bringing great entertainers at an affordable price, at the most comfortable outdoor venue in the region,” according to a spokesperson.

The season kicks off June 4 with appearances by the Drifters, the Tams and the Coasters.

On the bill for June 18 are the Atlanta Rhythm Section and Pure Prairie League.

The Commodores are the featured act July 9.

The Guess Who will take the stage July 30.

Closing out the summer series Aug. 6 is Clint Black.

Series tickets are now on sale via www.SouthernGroundAmp.com and start at $99 (+ tax) for general admission lawn seats and $145 (+ tax) for reserved seats and include all five shows.  Individual show tickets will go on sale Monday, March 28.   

“We are very excited about the selection of artists scheduled for this year and hope that the patrons are as well,” said Brian Wismer, amphitheater manager and Fayetteville’s community development director. “The Southern Ground Amphitheater continually strives to be a cool place that provides a wonderful outlet for our residents to come out and have fun with friends and music.”

Southern Ground Amphitheater is owned by the Downtown Development Authority and managed by the Main Street Tourism Association of Fayetteville.
