Layette artists exhibiting at gallery

Honey Corbin and Sandy Holcomb Fayette County fine artists have received word that several of their paintings have been juried into the 2016 Arts Clayton Gallery Juried Show & Competition.

The opening reception is Friday, Feb. 5, 5:30-7:30 p.m. and open to the public. Arts Clayton Gallery is located at 136 S. Main Street in Jonesboro.

Corbin and Holcomb are active members of several local and regional art associations. They have exhibited in local juried shows at the Coweta Centre for Performing and Visual Arts, the Newnan Art Walk, Dogwood Gallery and Art With Heart at St. Andrew’s Church.

Holcomb, a retired middle school teacher, has exhibited her art in the governor’s mansion as well as with Fayette Society of Fine Art and the Blue Ridge Mountain Arts.

Corbin, a retired professional nurse, has exhibited at The Booth Western Art Museum and The Downtown Gallery, Cartersville, and is a member of the Women Painters of the Southeast having participated in juried shows in Arizona, Colorado, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
