Each Southern Crescent Chorale concert season begins with a gala and concert event. This year’s Gala, “A Highland Banquet,” is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m. at the Dolce Peachtree-Atlanta in Peachtree City. The theme is in keeping with the Chorale’s excitement about their upcoming tour of Scotland, England and France in June 2016.
An evening of music and dancing is planned with the sounds of the band Second Time Around and visiting with friends throughout the evening along with a performance by the Chorale to preview the season.
A silent auction is also included. Cocktail hour begins at 7 p.m. and the program begins at 8.
Cost is $100 per person and formal attire suggested (black tie or kilt). Phone 770-716-1231 to make a reservation no later than Friday, Oct. 16.
