Baby Basics, open to expectant mothers and their spouses or partners, provides information and guidance related to the care of the newborn. Topics discussed include bathing, diapering, burping, feeding, calming techniques for a fussy baby, car safety seats, immunizations, circumcisions, signs of illness and when to call the pediatrician.
The class is led by Jan Mannion in the Dietary Conference Center at Piedmont Hospital, located beside Chick-fil-A. The next class will take place Saturday, Oct. 10, from 1-3 p.m. The cost of the class is $10.
