0Curtis Emory Edwards, 72, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015.
He was born in Montgomery, Ala. to Herman and Catha Lee Edwards on September 18, 1942.
Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his aunt, Ollie Ree Peacock; his cousins, Sharon Shafer (Rev. Richard); Tammitha Prince; Susan Rhodes; C.T. Prince; Andrea and Ryan Syslo; Addie Kate and Lane Syslo; Pam and McKenzie Meeks; Cynthia Brash; Shea Houser and Easton Houser; Carla and Joey Wurtz; Allee, Gabe and Michael Wurtz; Chezz and Jamie McCann; Asher McCann; four dear friends, Jannelle Johnson, Clifford and Diane Hamilton and Sarah Stargell, and a host of church family and friends.
The funeral will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City Chapel, with Pastor Rich Reese and Rev. Richard Shafer officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be on Friday, September 4, 2015 in Montgomery, Ala.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First Christian Church of Tyrone, 294 Jenkins Road, Tyrone, Ga. 30290.
